Stacy Turner, OD, has more than 30 years of experience treating adults and children and is the founder of Eldorado Vision & Optical in McKinney, Texas. She designed her practice so she could provide the best eye care and most advanced diagnostic tools in a comfortable setting. Dr. Turner’s dedication to excellence in optometry, and her patient-centered approach embodies her practice’s motto, “Setting the gold standard in eye care.”

A native Texan, Dr. Turner graduated from McAllen High School, in McAllen, Texas, and then received her bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas. After graduating college, Dr. Turner returned to McAllen and worked as a computer programmer.

However, her desire to be more interactive with people pushed her to pursue a career in health, so she returned to school and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry with honors. Dr. Turner began practicing eye care in Plano, Texas at EyeMasters in 1990. In 1998, she and Dr. Renee Campbell founded Lakeside Vision & Optical in Plano, Texas where she saw patients until 2015 when she sold the practice.

Dr. Turner is involved in a number of professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the North East Texas Optometric Society.

When she’s not helping patients improve their vision, Dr. Turner likes to relax at the beach with her family or go traveling.

Hadi Abusaad, O.D. obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Learning & Development from The University of Texas at Dallas. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at The University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude. He is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. During his training, Dr. Abusaad completed rotations focusing on ocular pathology, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, dry eye disease, and more.

Subsequently, Dr. Abusaad completed an intensive residency in Ocular Disease at The Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX. There, Dr. Abusaad gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and medical management of ocular pathology including glaucoma, uveitis, cornea & anterior segment disease, ocular infections, posterior segment disease, ocular emergencies, and surgical co-management. His experience also includes specialty contact lens fittings for patients with various corneal diseases including keratoconus and other corneal ectasias, ocular surface disease, post-corneal transplants, and more.

Dr. Abusaad looks forward to providing quality eye care to his patients at Eldorado Vision & Optical and is passionate about educating them on their eye diseases. In his free time, Dr. Abusaad enjoys catching up with his friends and family, traveling, and spending time with his cat.

Dr. Abusaad is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and American Optometric Association.
